The Enquiry.

The Enquiry is a collective affiliated with GradCAM, the Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media based in Dublin, Ireland and meets at IMMA the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
The group are concerned with a performative analysis of exhibition modalities and strategies both historical and contemporary. There is a current focus on the relationship between ‘dematerialization’ citing Lucy Lippard’s construct and more recent considerations of ‘immateriality’ with a primary focus on Jean-François Lyotard’s explication and on the digital, and also the intersection between the immaterial and the de-material.
